Our steep angle conveyor belts are suitable for horizontal, steeply inclined and vertical conveying. Our base belts, sidewalls and cleats are professionally designed to ensure efficient operation of the system.
1. Base Belt Design
The base belt is the foundation of the steep angle conveyor belt. Our base belts are designed to flex efficiently in the longitudinal direction and have greater height in the transverse direction. Durable and flexible materials are used to withstand loads and steep slopes. The design of base belts with different widths allows for different material capacities.
2. Sidewall Design
Sidewalls prevent material from slipping off the conveyor belt on steep slopes. The sidewalls are made of high strength materials to avoid bending when compressed at the deflection point. The angle of inclination is designed according to the angle of the conveyor belt to provide sufficient stability and carrying capacity.
3. Cleat Design
Cleats are attached to the base belt to hold the material in place and prevent slipping. So our cleats have proper stiffness and are reinforced with synthetic fabric to avoid tearing due to gravity. The types of cleats we offer are mainly TC type, which can grip the material well. They can also be customized according to your needs.
4. Free zone and effective belt width
Free Zone Width (B3): This is the space between the side walls that does not contain any material. It should be wide enough to allow smooth flow, but not so wide that material is lost.
Effective belt width (B2): The actual width of the belt used for material transportation, usually slightly less than the basic belt width.
Mining and quarrying: Ideal for transporting ore, gravel or coal at steep angles, especially in pits or mountainous areas.
Waste disposal: suitable for transporting industrial waste, scrap metal or recyclable materials at different inclines in recycling facilities or waste management operations.
Construction: For transporting building materials, sand, gravel and cement at different heights or levels on construction sites or in material storage facilities.
Power generation: Ensuring smooth transportation of coal in thermal power plants operating in confined spaces.
Agriculture: Handling grains, seeds and other bulk materials in agriculture and food production.
